This little chap walked into my office this afternoon. My guess is that the bird is a Lesser Black-back as they are the commonest on the estate. With the windy conditions today, perhaps the wind has blown it off a factory roof.

This burst water mains in Bristol City Centre brought a lot of attention. You can see how tall the water is compared the the double decker bus on the right. Plenty of people got out their camera phones including myself.

I found my first ever Pyramidal Orchid today. I never knew they existed on Sand Point. The plant below I've now had identified as a Stinking Iris.

The first photo of the month starts with this Rose Chafer that flew into my back garden. It didn't stay long and was awkward to photograph. This was the best of only 3 photos managed.
