A great find in Pembrokshire in the form of a Pechora Pipit was at Goodwick Moor at Fishguard in Pembrokshire. Despite being a brown jobby, I found the bird very enjoyable to watch. It fed around a flooded area reminding me of a waterthrush. Its buzzy little flight was distinctive too as it was often chased about by a resident Robin. I found the photography slightly tricky as the lighting caused a problem. The bird never seemed bothered by the number of human onlookers at close range. The chorus of camera shutters must have been very noticeable to the bird at times.
