Hoopoe Knighton, Somerset 23rd March 2007

It took me five visits to get photos of this bird. It showed well plenty of times but not when I was there, until today. Unfortunately the light levels were low so I had to take off the teleconverter but still the shots came out grainy. The light did improve but by then my time had run out and the bird was feeding more in the long grass. At least now there is something to show for my efforts.
