American Bittern Walmsley Sanctuary.

This bird was first discovered at Trewey Common possibly as early as 24th October. It was twitched from 28th to 31st when it relocated to Walmsley Sanctuary from 1st November and last seen on 6th November. On the night of 6th November the winds changed from westerly to northerly giving the bird opportunity to fly south with a good tailwind.
